Consulting
NPS consulting is designed around one principle: produce
measurable results. As the old saying goes, "If you can't measure it,
you can't manage it." We believe our consulting practice works to
create an environment that aligns business, technology, and processes
in such a way as to provide an organization with clear and measurable
improvements in productivity and market value.
NPS has established multi-year process improvement consulting
activities with a diverse set of industries, including both large and
small organizations that perform development or maintenance for both
systems and software.
The focus of any
process
improvement program is getting the right people to do the right things
at the right time. NPS works with you to create the appropriate
infrastructure to sustain process change. We assist in launching
and sustaining Process Action Teams, Engineering Process Groups, and
Executive Steering Committees. Our services
provide
ongoing mentoring from desk side
consulting to Executive Steering Committee facilitation.
Training
NPS
provides CMMI training at all levels from awareness, overviews,
workshops for individual Process Areas, executive presentations, and
finally the SEI's Introduction to the CMMIv1.2 and Service
Supplement for CMMIv1.2. NPS is an early adopter of CMMI for Services

Our instructors are SEI Certified SCAMPI Lead Appraisers and
SEI-Certified SCAMPI High Maturity Lead Appraisers, so
you receive years of experience appraising organizations worldwide
applied to your learning environment. Our courses are designed to meet
the needs of anyone within the organization tasked to support the
process improvement program: practitioner to executive.
NPS also provides workshops on preparing for a SCAMPI
appraisal.
Appraisals
NPS provides all levels of appraisals: informal Gap Analysis
to a formal SCAMPI for a Capability or Maturity Level. NPS has
extensive experience in performing appraisals in the CMMI worldwide. NPS has serveral SEI-Certified SCAMPI High
Maturity Lead Appraisers to provide higher maturity appraisal guidance
and appraisal delivery.
NPS is proud to offer a SCAMPI appraisal that is both
effective and efficient. Our appraisal preparation process enables us
to execute a SCAMPI during normal working hours without any late nights
or weekends.
